THE KID

This animated short film tells the story of a young American boy fleeing Texas with his mother due to wildfires. But on entering Oklahoma, they are forcibly separated and caged, without any indication of when they might see each other again.

 

THE KID was a recipient of the City of Chicago’s DCASE IAP 2020 award.
